A clearly worded leaflet is available on arrival, describing the attraction; this leaflet includes our opening times, contact numbers, email and web site addresses. This leaflet is widely distributed to other tourist venues, hotels, guest houses, caravan parks and tourist information centres.
We are located in the village of Flookburgh: from M6 JCT 36, follow A590 to Grange-over-Sands, then B5277 to Flookburgh. From Barrow-in-Furness, follow A590 then B2578 to Flookburgh. We are 10 minutes by car from Grange-Over-Sands and 38 minutes from Windermere. A bus service from Grange-Over-Sands runs hourly from Grange-Over-Sands railway station. By train: change at Lancaster for Cark-in-Cartmel, the miniature village is 5 minutes walk from the station. Also train services from Barrow-in Furness to Cark-in-Cartmel.
The miniature village is clearly signed with yellow AA signs between March and October.

From Flookburgh Village square, follow signs to Ravenstown, go along Main Street and take a left turn into Winder Lane. We are located just before Flookburgh School.
Arrival and Parking Facilities
We do not have a car park but there is ample parking on the road outside the miniature village.
The admission charges for the miniature village are as follows:
Adults - £4.00 each
Children - £3.50 each
Concessions - £2.00 each
Main Entrance & Reception
Access to the main entrance is on a path made from old slate flag stones (some are uneven), and three steps. The rest of the paths are gravel.
There is another entrance at the side suitable for visitors who cannot negotiate the steps and the driveway of the main entrance allowing easy wheelchair access.
The main entrance is also the entrance to the home of the owners Edward, and his wife Kathleen Robinson; the miniature village is in the grounds of their home.
Their house is private and not open to visitors. The reception is at the front door area of their house; you pay the entrance fee there. On entering the miniature village, the entrance gate is fastened back. Paths in the miniature village are one meter wide.
The toilet is a disabled access toilet.
There is a ramp up to the toilet and the door opens outwards.
There are several areas in the miniature village where waterways are close to the footpaths.
The miniature village is an unsupervised attraction; please keep an eye on children at all times.
Viewing and photography are from the pathways only.
There is a no smoking policy throughout the miniature village.
